The Museums and Historical Society present a variety of fundraisers annually. Events range from the family friendly Mercer Museum Folk Fest and Fonthill's Old-Fahioned 4th of July to the elegant Mercer Museum's Savory Sampler and fun Spring Auction.

The Mercer Museum has announced an exciting $12M expansion program to provide expanded exhibition space including a new 3,500 square foot changing exhibits gallery, and a new 1,000 square foot Multi-flex Learning Center; upgraded visitor services and enhanced site development: including welcoming, wayfinding and expanded parking facilities, and an enhanced endowment.

The Mercer Museum brings together the best of our area’s culinary treasures for an unforgettable evening. The Patron’s Preview Party is an additional $75 and is from 7 – 8 pm.

The Mercer Museum's Annual Auction featured a variety of first-class items up for bid including one week vacations in Nantucket, MA, Southold, NY, Cape May, NJ, and a two-night getaway in Greenwich Village, NY. Additional excursions featured attractions in Pittsburgh, the Poconos, and Baltimore, VIP Day in Washington, DC, courtesy of Senator Arlen Specter and romantic overnight in New Hope/Lambertville. New to the event this year, guests began the evening at Mercer's Martini Preview Reception featuring martini specials, raw bar and preview-only bidding items.

Experience "the good-old days" at an early 20th century July 4th celebration. Festivities include a children's decorated bike parade, town ball game (19th-century baseball), watermelon eating contests, free old-time games, live music and picnic foods. Gate tickets are $4 adults, $2 members, $1 youth (ages 5-17), and free for children ages 4 and under. Free parking. No dogs are allowed on the grounds. Heavy rain cancels the event.
