The Mercer Museum has announced an exciting $10M expansion program to provide expanded exhibition space including a new 3,500 square foot changing exhibits gallery, and a new 1,000 square foot Multi-flex Learning Center; upgraded visitor services and enhanced site development: including welcoming, wayfinding and expanded parking facilities, and an enhanced endowment.

Experience "the good-old days" as Fonthill re-creates an early 20th century July Fourth Celebration. Festivities include a decorated bike parade, a town ball game (19th-century baseball), a watermelon eating contest, free old-time games and live music. Food is available or you can bid on a picnic basket. Admission is $3 for adults ($2 BCHS members), $1 for children ages 6-17 and free for those under 6. Heavy rain cancels event. Enjoy a Patron's Preview party, a champagne reception prior to the start of Savory Sampler. Begun in 1977, all proceeds from Savory Sampler benefit the Mercer Museum's educational programs for children, adults and families.
